How much paper can you get out of a tree. Trees are in different sizes, so it would be harder to say exactly how much paper comes from one tree. One paper manufacturer states that a cord of wood measuring 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.4 metres or 128 cubic feet makes around nearly 90,000 sheets of bond-quality paper! That can make around 2,700 copies of a 35-page newspaper! This post was done by Mack and edited by me!!!

The House On The Top Of The Hill

Age: Any that can read proper sentences
Rating: */5

Benjamin Boggle didn't like boys because they were too noisy. He didn't like girls because they were too giggly. And he despised adults because they told him what to do. He had animals to give him food and a drink and plants to give him fruit. He was all good up in the top of the hill. He doesn't like the village at all.

The chimney was crooked, the roof looked like it was sliding off and the house leaned in like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It leaned wherever the wind blew so it was rocking side to side. The story is funny in some pages and the ending is extremely kind. The people care for him when his house broke down from extremely strong winds and now he is the happiest man on earth.

Best Choice For Country Visiting
(In my opinion.)

This persuasive writing is about which country I should go to. Many people would go to beautiful islands but as it says on the title, it is my opinion. If any of you know me right now, my choice would be...

Argentina. This place is both warm and cold. Filled with beautiful plants and amazing foods. Honestly, after you finish reading this, copy and paste this word, "alfajores". These are the best chocolates in the universe.

You have to speak fluent Spanish, but you can understand some words (even though they won't understand yours). There are a few mosquitoes here and there, but at the very south of Argentina, you get to see... penguins. They are called the Magellanic Penguin. The have a black head and a white ring just after the eyes. But be aware in of your surroundings because there are some dangerous animals like pumas a.k.a mountain lions.

In Argentina, at night, you can hear owls in the night. When I went there 5 years ago and I was at my Granddad and Grandma's, I heard a call of an owl. It soothed my doubts and helped me relax and go to sleep. Most houses have a lot of insects that can irritate you, but most houses have Hummingbirds coming to their flowers and have pools for hot days (which is nearly everyday). Good museums for Argentinian culture, cool places to eat and of course, lots of ice cream shops. Some Argentinians have 3 scoops and say, "This is not enough.". Spanish, of course.

For these reasons, I hope you will go to Argentina and see the beautiful landscapes. And please stay safe and tell me if I convinced you. If I didn't, tell me what country you would go to. I liked showing what Argentina can show and how it does it so well. Please copy and paste the word "Calchaqui Valley", and you will see the beauties of  Argentina. Luckily, I'm going next year. Then I will get to meet my family. Can't wait.

How to speak ZOMBIE
Rating 6/10 Age 8+

This is a book of how to speak the fascinating (and boring) language of zombie's. It is filled with gurgles and groans and moans. Mack also did this book so please check his out. Let's go to the world of the zombies.

Zombies are slow, dumb, but are extremely slow. If you don't want to be eaten, you should learn how to speak their language. This is a funny book like this line, "aaaaYYYrarhhhhmMUHHHTT?" stands for, "Can I borrow your yoga mat?" It is quite funny. There is no story to it, but it is quite entertaining. Now SSSSUuuuuwwwrrHHH (sit) and enjoy that book.

Why flamingos stand on one leg. Flamingos usually stand on one leg, the other leg beneath the body, on its belly. The reason for this is not fully understood yet. Recent research say that standing on one leg allow the flamingos to get more body heat, given that they spend an amount of time walking in cold water.

When "Livin' On A Prayer" was released. It was reached first on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the USA in 1987, February, and held the position for 28 days = 1 month= 4 weeks. Slippery When Wet was the album which "Livin' On A Prayer" appears, was Bon Jovi's best album ever.

That a Platypus is made out of these animals. With a bill like a duck, a tail like a beaver, and feet like an otter sounds like something a mad scientist would create. Add to the list the ability to lay lizard-like eggs and shoot poison out of your foot, and you have a unique creature indeed.

Best Super-power

People have been wandering what the best superpower is. There have been some for invisibility, flight and super strength. I believe that the best superpower is… getting anything you want from your hand.

With that superpower, you can summon anything you want! You can get a potion of invincibility, you can even get things that aren’t even in the galaxy yet! Of course, with this superpower, you can control the world. You can ask for infinite money and an army to take over an entire galaxy.

As you can see, this superpower can’t be overused (well, it can be. But it would just be O.P (over-powered).). Because what Spider-Man’s uncle said, “With great power, comes great responsibility”. If you have this power, use it all you want. But please don’t take over the universe.

P.S: If you liked this argument, please comment or tell me what your favourite super power is.

If their is any caffeine used in chocolate. It does contain some, but not much. A 28 gram milk chocolate bar or an 227 gram glass of chocolate milk both have around 5 milligrams of caffeine. Compare that to 85 milligrams of caffeine in 227 grams of normal coffee.

Here is a letter that I made for our lovely teacher, who was in hospital to get her leg amputated, named Mrs Brown. I hope you like it.

Dear Mrs Brown,

We are so excited for you to come
back. You really inspired us to
become more sporty in our years,
and we would love it if you came
back (which you are). See you
soon. And hope you healed over
time.
From Ivan.

Do you want siblings or not?

Siblings are brothers and sisters who can play with you or annoy you a lot!!!! This is some persuasive writing for having siblings or not. Would you want a sibling?

Siblings can help you out with your chores, but you can get into quite an argument. They can play with you and have fun in the holidays with you, or you can be in a fight and not agree with other things. Siblings can be annoying to your friends, but you still have them, and you wouldn't let anyone be mean to your sibling.

Siblings can be annoying, but if you are older than them, they look up to you, and if you are younger than them, you look up to them. I think I would like a sibling, and I’m glad I do.

The Big Move

Marc is a 13 year old boy with an 8 year old sister called Katya. He doesn't want to move from Queensland to Melbourne, because over their he'll have no mates and no rugby team. In Melbourne, they have Aussie Rules, even though they live in Australia. Over in Melbourne, in his new school, he meets a girl named Lena and her little sister, Tisha. It is a story about Marc not wanting to move and he has to deal with all the new things in his life. I would rate this a 3/5 and for ages 5+.

Cats Or No Cats.

On this writing, we are trying to see whether we should ban cats or keep them. In my opinion, we should keep them.

Sure they kill native birds and other animals, but they balance the population of pests like possums. They also play with the children to take them off of electronics.

Another thing is that if we ban the cats, the stray cats who kill the most things can always come back, and the domestic ones can take territory so the strays can mark their territory. That is why I think we should keep cats.

P.S: Most of these ideas were giving to me by Mack. So I am really grateful for him giving me these ideas.

Book Review
Title: Shadows in the Ice.
Author: Des Hunt

"Shadows in the Ice" is the amazing sequel to the hit Frog Whistle Mine. Des Hunt wrote the second story starring Tony and Rose on another adventure near Fox Glacier. Tony used his detective skills to figure out another mystery with Rose helping him out with her cyber knowledge.

Tony meets a new friend and a new enemy in this story. There is murder, adventure and mystery in this awesome book. His new friend is a carcass cleaner named Murray, a kindhearted man who had a thing with birds. His most loyal bird is a kea named Kinky. Murray had a horrible accident when he shot something, but he thought he shot something else. Tony and Rose fly in to figure out what is going on in this town, and who to trust.

This story is just such a good story, that you can read it over and over again. But my advice is to first read the prequel "Frog Whistle Mine". Both stories is showing the life of Tony Hogan-White and his friend, Rose. Their adventures will always be stories to tell. I would rate it a 4/5.

Why I Should Be The New Rm 6 Librarian

I always wanted to be a student librarian. When I grow up, being a librarian would be my 2nd job. It just looks like such a great responsibility. Just look at all the books you can read and know and all the people that you can help. That is definitely the job for me.

I love to have a good challenge, and to try and succeed at all costs. I like seeing new faces and helping them out and making new friends. Sadly, I never got that chance. The only time I remember helping the library was to take the box filled with books to the library without even helping to use the computer. That was the last time I carried the box. And that was only when I was a Yr 3. My 1 and a half year of school. You wouldn’t want a 7 year old wait all the way to an 11 year old to do a job he/she always wanted and just let him/her sit there only to get 2 books, would you? That’s how I feel (not that you are mean or anything).

I am responsible, kind and hardworking. When I was in my old school at Newlands, I usually was the first one to finish and if the teacher was busy, I would mark the sheets since I got them all right. I helped my teacher to organise books and to clean up with the rest of my class. I know when to be a team and to work together. I love reading books and I’m a really good reader. I am quite patient and a humorous boy. I am also a good listener.

I wrote an article called “Temple Today, Gone Tomorrow” with an extra story in The Guardian. I love thinking ideas and brainstorming with other people. I would love to be a librarian. It looks absolutely awesome.
