The Invasion

“No one really knows how it started. No one knows who started it. But what we do know is that the hero is SuperGuy!!! He wants to save the galaxy with his bare hands! He wants to hit the baddies with his bare hands as well! He’s…SUPERGUY!!! (make sure the batteries are not included or you’ll have to give it back.)”.

“Mama, why can’t I have one of those?” asked Ben with big eyes.

“Remember that Mama is saving up to buy a house instead of an apartment and a job? A house costs $10,000. That costs $99.99. Sorry, Benny, but I promise that when I get a job and house, I’ll buy one if I have enough money.” replied his mum, Lily.

“Okay.” said Ben sulking a bit. He still liked where he was. He has a park, library, school and kindergarten nearby. He also has nice friends there. The problem is that his parents separated. His father owned most of the money so he technically left her to dry.

“Mama, can we go for a walk?” asked Ben.

“Sure. Put on a coat because it’s a bit chilly outside.” replied Lily. Then suddenly the radio was saying something that interested them.

“BREAKING NEWS! SCIENTISTS HAVE FOUND SOME WAVE PATTERNS OF UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS AND EXTRATERRESTRIAL BEINGS. THERE MIGHT BE SOME IN THE SKY RIGHT NOW. HERE IS WHAT PRO. MOON HAS TO SAY. ‘“THERE HAVE BEEN SOME UNUSUAL ENCOUNTERS WITH ASTRONAUTS SAYING THEY HAVE SEEN MANY BATTLESHIPS AND A MOTHER-SHIP.”’THERE YOU HAVE IT WITH PRO. MOON. GOOD NIGHT AUSTRALIA.”

“Cool! Aliens. Pew, pew, pew.” played Ben. He went into his room and got out his water pistol, Stormtrooper suit and toy rocket.

“We are here to oblilowate your planet! Pew, pew, pew!” played Ben. Lily decided to play with him.

“Oh no! It’s the evil Benotrons! Who will be able to save us?” said Lily.

“No one will be able to save you. Mwa ha ha ha ha!” said Ben.

Suddenly, they heard noises. Not the construction workers, not the birds but whooshing noises whizzing through the air. They went outside and the city in peril. Citizens were running wild being abducted, the buildings looked they’ve been cut in half by a chainsaw and many other unimaginable things. They went outside trying to help some people but just then, Ben was being abducted.

“MAMA!!! HELP ME!!!” cried Ben.

“BEN!!!” yelled Lily. She tried to reach Ben but she too was being abducted. They found themselves in a testing facility. The aliens looked like big piles of jelly with brains, eyes and organs showing.

“We have gotten the test subjects, Sir Gloj.” Said an unusually fancy alien.

“Good.” said Sir Gloj with a sly grin. “Activate the Extractor!”

“Wait, Sir Gloj!” cried an alien that looked like the scientist. “The Extractor isn’t ready yet! The plutonium isn’t fully activated! If we start it now, the element will completely destroy the whole planet including us!”

“Does it look like I care?! NO!!! I want to destroy one more planet even if it does destroy all Ploginer’s!” yelled Sir Gloj fiercely. But what he didn’t realize is that there was a vent in the testing chamber and Lily opened the vent for Ben to get out.

Ben kept on going until he saw the coast was clear. He went to the armory and found some armour that was way to big for him. He then saw the thing he needed.

“Now is it ready, you dimwit?” said Sir Gloj impatiently.

“Yes, your Highness, the plutonium is ready.” said the scientist.

“Finally! I nearly called my butler to get me a Coke. Hey, where is the kid?” Sir Gloj said looking carefully at the cage.

“I have no right to tell you! Anyway, I don’t know where he is.”

said Lily. Then Ben kicked the door open. At least he tried to because all that came out was a little knock.

“Hold on a sec!” said Ben from the other side of the door. Then he casually opened the door, closed it behind and pointed a plasma gun at Sir Gloj.

“I am here to oblilowate you! I also need to practice that word.” said Ben.

PEEW!!!

A plasma blast completely disintegrated Sir Gloj but it also disintegrated the ship. The impact completely smushed the Ploginers and destroyed the terrain. Lily and Ben were passed out holding hands.

6 years later…

The invasion has been forgotten and Ben is now 10 years old. He is going to school now as a year 6. You might find him in a school. When he was doing PAT test, he looked out of a window and saw a flying dog going into the sky. He smiled. He wondered what his next adventure was.
